Kat Dixon,  the first of several women to come forward with information regarding their abuse at the hands of Gregory Sherl, has started a fundraising campaign to raise funds for Hope House,  an organization that aids women and children in rebuilding their lives after escaping situations of domestic violence.

Kat, Kia and Donora, the brave women who came forward publicly with their experiences are hoping to match or exceed the amount raised for Sherl’s personal treatment as a public declaration of solidarity for women who suffer at the hands of their partners world wide. Every year, more than 5 million women are victimized by their partners, and 1 in 4 women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime. Many do not survive.

Please consider donating to this campaign. While your solidarity and support for Sherl’s victims is both important and much appreciated, a donation directly lends a helping hand to the women who need it most, regardless of the perpetrator.
